FAIRY TALES IN ABSTRACT

We have all grown up with fairy tales which enchanted, entertained, taught or frightened us; widened our imagination and filled our hearts with joy and hope; in which magic and miracles happen, exciting adventures take place and in the end, the good always wins and lives happily ever after !...
This series, tells Rengin Saltık’s version of fairy tales; in which she painted several layers of color with free brush strokes, using mixed media to achieve a three-dimensional presence, and employing repetitions of patterns or textures to accentuate the single, crucial aspect which reminds of or defines each tale.

The series consists of 22 paintings.
